Week 1/15-1/19

Last week, students chose a topic, researched the topic using credible sources, and completed a pre-writing outline which they were provided with oral feedback. They also started writing their argumentative essay. I must say, they writing has improved so much and they even say that it is getting easier (woohoo!).

This week, students will finish writing their argumentative essays and submit them for feedback. This will be a quick turnaround for me; however, I want students to have one thing to focus on improving before they encounter their next argumentative essay on the district writing test January 22-26.
